List of Services

 Inspection, observation and certification of different grade and field grounds of the seeds of controlled crop seeds implemented by seed production companies.
• Take effective steps for seed production, processing, preservation and quality control.
• Collect sample from seed lot and send it to laboratory according to schedule.
• Provide certification tags based on satisfactory results of seed test and tag tags in the bag.
• Duties of controlling seed quality through market monitoring.
• Send report on seed production, processing and quality control for the use of National Seed Board.
• Coordinating the evaluation and discounting of varieties of controlled crops
• Support the National Seed Board for identifying the cause of the disease which is low-yielding or sensitive to diseases and insects and detoxification.
• To help promote the expansion of high yielding varieties of seeds of quality seed.
• Collect samples of Truthfully Labeled Seeds and ensure proper quality of the examination.

• To implement the provisions of the Seed Act, 2018 and to take legal action against the offenders.
